Hi Miss McKenzie!!!! i just heard about your adventure on the radio, it so exciting! even though i am not in grade 9 or 8 humanities i will defiantly follow your progress on your blog and watch the videos. i was talking to some of the other girls and everyone misses you and Mrs. Korman so much! we came to a conclusion that you are such an inspiration and have become a strong woman we can look up to, so thank you!
Kate! What an amazing woman you are to undertake this adventure!! I am so impressed. Like your students I too feel hopeless about the world a lot of the time. I am mourning the loss of my husband and reevaluating my life in so many ways. Can’t wait to read your weekly postings. Bon Voyage….
Wow. Thank you for taking the time to connect with me Liz! Hearing your story gives me even more motivation to go forward with courage to help bring back something positive for people like you and inspires me to continue this journey myself in pursuing hope. Thank You.
Hey Miss McKenzie! I heard about your journey and decided to look into it more, and wow! It’s so inspiring to know that regular people can do amazing things. You’re someone I can look up too. Thank you so much, I look forward to following your progress!
Thank you Emma! It means a lot to me that you would write and let me know that. I will need lots of encouragement over the next seven months to stay courageous and hopeful as I take on this journey.
Have you read: The Universe Next Door: A Basic Worldview Catalog, 5th edition, Intervarsity press. Or my Worldview: The History of a Concept (Eerdmans 2002).
Thank you,
David
