Kate McKenzie

As a storyteller and artist, Kate believes that images and metaphors are essential in building understanding between people.  Growing up in a Scottish tradition, storytelling was always a part of Kate’s life from a young age.  Whether it was listening to her mom read classic novels like Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia or writing her own stories, she loved good tales. She also loved creating art, exploring both drawing and painting as a way to express big ideas.  Film was a natural extension of her art and became the medium for Worldviews Project since it could combine both images and storytelling into one format.  Kate continues to use her art as a way to inspire change and encourage critical thinking.

  1. Hi there,

I got relatives in Colombia, in a small city called Tunja (two-hour drive from Bogotá). They could host you for a few days (I think). If interested drop me a line and I would contact them to ask for that.

    Good luck in your trip.
